How our ceramic capacitors are made
A short animation and illustrated steps show disc fabrication, lead soldering, coating, curing, testing and dispatch.

Follow the production sequence
The ceramic disc and silver electrodes are prepared first, then the leads are soldered, coated and tested.
Ceramic disc fabrication
- 01
Press ceramic powder
Ceramic powder is machine-pressed into a green disc.
- 02
High-temperature sintering
The green disc is sintered in a vertical furnace.
- 03
Cooling
The sintered ceramic disc is cooled.
- 04
Apply silver to both faces
Silver is applied to both electrode faces; surface coverage is 99.99%.
- 05
Form silver electrodes
The silvered faces are fired and reduced to form electrodes.
Final assembly and testing
- 06
Form copper leads
Copper wire is formed into the lead shape.
- 07
Insert the disc
The ceramic disc and formed leads are positioned for assembly.
- 08
Solder the leads
Copper leads are soldered to the silver electrode faces.
- 09
Clean
The assembly is cleaned after soldering.
- 10
Epoxy coating
The disc and soldered areas are encapsulated with epoxy resin.
- 11
Oven curing
The coating is cured in an oven for 4–6 hours.
- 12
Trim the leads
Copper leads are cut to the finished length.
- 13
Withstand-voltage test
Test at 1.5–2 times the rated voltage.
- 14
Capacitance test
Measure and verify capacitance.
- 15
Pack and dispatch
After inspection, parts are packed and dispatched.
These are process and construction illustrations. Actual equipment, settings and inspection methods follow factory work instructions.
